AMJ Blog
I have been writing a blog for some time. I use it to share my experiences and views on mental health – I had a breakdown in 2014/15 and live with depression and anxiety – and work life balance. I am passionate about working on my wellbeing and helping others to achieve and maintain the right work life balance and wellbeing approaches for them. My blog – along with my Twitter feed – comes with one health warning – if you read it you may have to hear about some of my other passions – my family, golf, Liverpool FC, communications, the Boston Red Sox, politics and the West Wing.

It's an ill wind that blows

Sunday; looking ahead with a smile on my face

Being a dad; facilitator not dictator

The Lakes; definitely not the road to hell!

Life saving technology; tired old arguments

The road not taken
I say Vicar, it’s time for the news and sport. Agggghhhhh!

Passchendaele; my unforgettable trip

Sunday means it's my weekly trip to print photos

My little sister is getting married; I am getting old!

A perfect Friday

2012 Opening Ceremony; the most British thing ever

Being a dad has changed everything

The Open: that was the week that was. And what a week!
Safe standing; heart vs head?

Emotion makes life and sport worthwhile

Watching Rory today proving that you never, ever stop trying

Setting the goal of getting to The Open; I'll drink to that

It may take a village to help but ultimately leadership is an individual game
